Welcome to Northern Yankee Moonshine! We are a moonshine distillery with a "Southern Family Tradition", founded in Cincinnati, Ohio. Moonshining in our family is a tradition and our heritage, our desire is to keep that tradition alive for generations to come!

Our Philosphy
Our company name and slogan, “Northern Yankee Moonshine with a Southern Family Tradition”, relates to our family history and background and the way that we like to do business. We have a family history of moonshining and a desire to keep that heritage alive.
We are from the Cincinnati area and found our way along the Ohio River to Ripley, Ohio. We opened our Northern Yankee Moonshine Distillery in July 2022. We are a small craft distillery that crafts our distilled spirits in small batches, the old fashioned way, like the moonshiners did in the backwoods.
Our Awards
Our founder, Doug Taylor had the honor and privilege to compete on the reality show, Moonshiner’s Master Distiller in February 2021. He won the title of “Master Distiller” for his signature Honey Peach Brandy and A limited run will be produced and distributed by Sugarland Distillery.
Our Distillery
All of our products are distilled and bottled at our distillery in Ripley, Ohio.
Our Northern Yankee Moonshine brand family features unique bottles that include traditional moonshine, rums, fruit based moonshines and barreled moonshines.
We continue to add new products to our portfolio of products.
Our Merchandise
Our merchandise includes Northern Yankee Moonshine branded shirts, hats and coozies and other Moonshine related novelties to delight people of all ages.
